Adenike Thomas is a multidisciplinary artist from Queens, NY, and a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
As an actress, she recurred as Special Agent Rowena Kala on Power Book IV: Force (Starz) and Alanah Mercer on Chicago P.D. (NBC). Her film credits include the award-winning indies The Morning After and Me Time, the latter earning her 3 awards & was an official selection for 25 film festivals including Nitehawk Film Fest, Rooftop Films Summer Series & BLACKSTAR Film Festival. Her theater credits include Lincoln Center’s The Rolling Stone, Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Wondrous Strange & The Movement Theatre Company’s Bintou.
As a filmmaker, she received the Made in NY Women's Film, TV & Theatre Fund grant for her web series pilot Addy & Addie, and won the XLerator Fellowship Program for her pilot, The Red Line.
Adenike is a recipient of the inaugural 2026 Write Where You Are Fellowship and is currently working on a short story collection.
